Since finding production in his high school years, Ethan Garcia has had an unyielding desire to create. Out of this, the AZURA project was born. His sound can be hard to pin down, but the ethos behind it is not. It has always been about creating what he himself wants to see, hear, and feel. Pulling inspiration from multiple places, such as UK garage, landscape paintings, and indie pop, AZURA fuses it all together to form something unique, yet familiar. Never quite satisfied, he is always honing new crafts, and has built the entire visual identity of the project as well. Through digital painting, graphic design, and animation, AZURA has begun to build a place where his ideas and concepts become real. Though he can’t say what’s next, one thing is certain, there is so much more to come.
