Guy Michel
About
Guy Michel is a well-known professional cellist. He began his music career at the age of 5 in his native country, Haiti. Guy trained and established a foundation in classical music during his early years and continued his study in secondary and post-secondary education, ultimately achieving a bachelor!s degree in Music. In 2008, Guy decided to pursue a solo career outside of the classical music industry. Guy explores new possibilities with the cello by blending different musical genres together creating modern popular music with his own twist. Guy has performed locally, nationally, and internationally where he also led music workshops. He recently became a Professional Member of the Recording Academy (GRAMMY) and a member of the world renowned music producer Timbaland’s Beatclub. His most prominent performances and features have been hip hop sensation Kodak Black’s 25th birthday celebration, the wedding of MLB star Michael Kopech to actress Vanessa Morgan, Univision!s hit Latin TV Show Mira Quien Baila, West Palm Beach!s Dinner En Blanc, Latin sensations Camila and Marco Antonio Solis, former presidents of Haiti Michel Martelly, and Jovenel Moise.
